The Research team is responsible for handling research requests from across SKDK’s client base of philanthropies, non-profits, corporations, and political organizations. Research interns work on a wide range of fast-paced projects and are relied to analyze large amounts of information and identify important insights. Ideal candidates are driven self-starters with the ability to grasp complex subject matter quickly and work well within teams.
Proofreading and editing of documents and data products such as questionnaires, memos, and presentations.
Conducting background research on local, state, national, and international issues and initiatives that focus on a range of political, cultural, and economic issues.
Assisting with the organization of research projects, including surveys and focus groups.
Ensuring quality control of the research process, including survey design testing and live research monitoring.
Developing knowledge and skills to take on more responsibilities, including developing survey questionnaire design and creating client presentations and memos based on data and recommendations.
Self-starter who can work independently and manage tasks remotely.
Interest in and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including survey research, focus groups, and in-depth interviews.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
Experience managing multiple projects and the ability to handle competing deadlines.
Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing landscapes and to work well under pressure and deadlines.
Candidates must have full-time availability, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with three days in office
